Think of the way you conducted business ten years ago, five years ago, even last year. The influx of social media into our professional as well as our personal lives has turned our daily life and the way we conduct business completely around. It’s not an “are you using social media for your business?” type of conversation. It’s “how are you using social media for your business?“
That is an important distinction because there are certain online protocols when it comes to maximizing the potential of social media to grow a business. Forbes recently touched on this topic in a recent article “19 Things Successful People Do On Social Media” along with a follow-up article “12 More Ways To Be Legendary And Successful On Social Media.”
Some of the advice offered in these articles includes:
Listen – monitor, observe and respond based on what you learn. Engage with people. That doesn’t mean pushing your product or opportunity. Find out what their needs and interests are and see if there is an opportunity for you to start a conversation.
Be genuine – don’t automate your updates. People want to follow and be friends with people. Automating some maybe ok in certain situations but without real connections and real engagement you will miss out on the real (and most beneficial part) of social media.
Quality vs. quantity – Focus more on the information you are sharing versus the number of posts you are posting. Think about your fans, friends, followers and share information that will be beneficial to them.
Getting paid is #1 – Your fan/follower count doesn’t matter nearly as much as figuring out how to engage with people, learn about their interests and needs and possibly bringing them into your business.
Take it offline too – Build up your following, engage in conversations online and when you are in the area, direct message or email social media contacts and look for opportunities to drop in, stop by or grab a cup of coffee. This could be a great opportunity to learn more about the person and even win business.
Be consistent – don’t just use social media when you have something to sell or promote. Provide value to your audience and don’t ask for anything in return.

Simply, mix together about 2 teaspoons of the MA+IGP with about 1 teaspoon of saline solution or purified water. Experiment and find out what consistency works best for your preferences; moist enough to spread onto your skin but dry enough to keep from dripping off. The consistency of eggnog or a milkshake seems to work best. Apply the mixture to clean, dry skin every day, allowing it to dry for 20 minutes. Rinse off afterwards. Repeat daily for 30 days. You have to mix this together immediately before applying each day. You cannot save any for the next day or premix a batch for the week.
